I have over twenty years of experience in many aspects of Special Education teaching, including developing gifted programs to educating the multi-handicapped. I have a Masters degree in Special Education. Most of my teaching experience has been with children between the ages 3-12. I have a lot of experience teaching children who have reading difficulties. I am familiar with Foundations and a few other remedial reading programs. Currently,I coach other teachers in the The Tools Of the Mind curriculum which helps foster both self control and intentional learning on the part of young children I also had a minor in college in Biology and endorsed in New Mexico to teach Science, Social Studies and Language Arts at the mid- high school level in Special Education. I have teaching licenses in NM for Elementary Education K-8, Special Education K-12, and Early Childhood birth -9
