I am a K-8 certified teacher who worked for APS for 7 years before becoming a stay at home mom. During my seven years of teaching I taught math, literature, and study skills. I also, had the opportunity to work with students who were trying to learn English as their second language. I helped tutor students before and after school helping them with areas they struggled in. With math I used a variety of different techniques to help students comprehend the concepts better. For example, some students struggle with multiplication so, I show them a way to solve all the 9 multiplication facts on their fingers. elementary (k-6th) - reading - study skills
