Hi! I'm Anastasia, an English major from UNM and I'm a big fan of the written word. I love writing and reading, and I love helping people improve their own writing and reading. I'm big on editing essays, working on learning new vocabulary and how best to utilize that new vocab in papers, and on making reading a fun experience. I don't have any formal experience as a tutor as of yet, but I have done quite a bit of peer reviewing in school-- basically, helping my fellow students improve their essays to make them easier to read, linguistically stronger, and generally better overall. When I'm tutoring in writing, I hope to help students understand what is good writing and how to do it themselves, using my experience as an English major (and someone who's written a lot of essays) to bolster the writing skills they already own.
